Working with my tutor Louis was a phenomenal experience.

I had a great experience studying for the radiology CORE exam with the resources provided by Medlearnity. I did not pass the exam on my first try and reached out to Medlearnity for help. Working with my tutor Louis was a phenomenal experience. I had most of the knowledge of the material, but Louis was able to help with strategies and test-taking skills that helped me pass the second time. Louis is very experienced as he helped many others with this exam. Doing questions and learning how to think through them as well as understanding how the material can be asked were very helpful to my success. If I was to do it all over again, I would have used Medlearnity sooner. Thank you Medlearnity!

Not only did I pass, but I passed in the categories I'd struggled with the most.

I totally wish I knew about Medlearnity earlier! The ABR CORE radiology examination was an absolute beast! I took the exam more than once, and my frustration, discouragement, and anxiety grew exponentially with each attempt. I had studied all the same videos, books, apps and Q-banks that all my colleagues had (several times). I often heard people say, "Oh, just study this – this – and this. That's what I did. You'll be fine." But it was never enough for me to pass. I needed help!

I realized that formal tutor options were hard to find for a specific/high level exam, like the CORE. In my online search, I came across Medlearnity, and sent them an email to see if they could point me in the right direction. Within 48 hours I was on the phone with Akshay, who had passed the CORE exam himself is exceptionally qualified as a tutor! Together we mapped out a study plan, using his "Task Manager." He introduced me to the Remnote tool, which is much more effective than traditional flashcards. He also recommended a few particular review series and case books. We spent time walking through these books together, specifically in my weaker subjects. Akshay put me in touch with Louis, who is also a phenomenal CORE tutor! Our sessions together were productive, emphasizing the high-yield concepts. Not only did I pass, but I passed in the categories I'd struggled with the most. If you're going to take the CORE exam, don't hesitate to reach out to Medlearnity.

I totally recommend them, and the sooner the better. You'll be glad you did.

05 FAQs

Frequently asked questions

How long do I have access to the course?

Three months from sign-up, or until your Core exam date, whichever comes first.

Is this a good fit if I'm retaking the Core?

Yes. The course is built for radiology residents preparing for their first Core exam and for radiologists retaking it. Use your free 15-minute preview to judge the teaching style and pacing against how you study, and use the form on this page if you'd like to talk it through with a person first.

Can I see the course before I pay?

Yes. Verify your mobile number and you get a free 15-minute preview of the real course — no card and no payment. It opens on the sample lesson, and the same 15 minutes let you open any other lesson too. The sample runs longer than 15 minutes on its own, so the preview will stop part-way through it if you watch nothing else; you decide how to spend the time.

How is this different from tutoring?

The Core Video Review is a self-paced video course you work through on your own schedule. One-on-one tutoring is a separate Medlearnity service; if you'd prefer live help, you can book a discounted trial session with an expert educator.

Do I need an account to watch the sample?

Yes, a quick one. We text a 6-digit code to your mobile number, and the first time you also give us your name and email — no password, no card. It ties the free 15 minutes to you, which is why the sample plays as real course video rather than a public link.

How do I pay?

You can pay securely by card as soon as you're ready; card access opens right after the payment clears. If you already have a Radiology Tutoring package, you can instead authorize five available hours — our team checks the balance against your package before that access is granted, so the hours route is not instant.

Rather talk it through first?

The preview needs only your mobile number. If you'd prefer a person — questions about fit, your exam timeline, or using existing tutoring hours — send them here and a Medlearnity educator will follow up.
